Serve Foster Families Saturday, September 16

Salem Baptist Church has another wonderful opportunity to serve parents of foster children. When surveyed, foster families listed babysitting as their #1 need. On Saturday, September 16th from 3 – 6:30 PM, Salem is hosting a “Respite Afternoon.” This will be a time when parents of foster children ages birth – 8th grade can drop their children off at the church and enjoy an afternoon together while their children are loved by us.

How can you help? Adult and teenage volunteers are needed for a 1:1 ratio of child/adult, station leaders (activities provided), the welcome team, and extra help. What a wonderful opportunity to serve at Salem as we reach those outside our doors and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
