Our Bible Fellowship Groups, or BFGs for short, are a place to connect, grow and belong each Sunday morning. They also do hands-on missions through a variety of projects serving our community and beyond. We have BFGs for all ages, and we encourage you to visit more than one group to find the one where you feel most comfortable.
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…"
There is no registration or anything else you have to do. Just come as you are and study the word together! If you need any assistance finding your way to a BFG, our welcome team will be happy to assist you when you come!

|College & Career
|Led by Tim and Holly Purkey/Brent and Robin Blanton
The college and career class is primarily made up of young adults between 18–25 years old. Our adults range from a gap year between high school and college, attending college, technical schools, or grad school. We make disciples by studying books of the Bible and Word-based curriculum. We also incorporate discussions centered around real-life applications of the verses we study. We are also involved in The Collective Ministry (for adults between ages 18-30) which meets every other Friday in the Multi-Purpose Room at 6:30 PM. We meet regularly for coffee, fellowship, game nights, and service projects.
|Led by: Ken and Kathy Wilson
The Young Married BFG is primarily made up of couples in their 20’s and early 30’s. We make disciples typically by studying books of the Bible verse-by-verse, but also specific topical book studies periodically. We try to regularly gather outside of Sunday mornings to serve together and grow closer in fellowship.
|Led by: Rob and Alyssa Powell, Mark Thompson
The Young Adult 1 class is made up of couples in their late 20’s and 30’s, mostly with young children. We approach topical book studies in addition to studying the Bible, all with the goal of growing closer to God and closer to each other through fellowship and service. We believe in the power of the gospel and want to see it continually change us and our community.
|Parents Under Construction
|Led by: David and Heather Dawson, Jeff and Marsha Fisher
Our class is made up of parents with children birth through high school. Our class is good for all parents: married, single, divorced or remarried. We have a variety of Bible studies: topical, verse-by-verse and once a year we go through a parenting study or book together. Most of the projects or gatherings we schedule as a class include our children.

The Mandarin to English BFG is for Chinese-speaking people who desire to study the Bible, but need the help of a translator to completely understand English. We study a book of the Bible verse-by-verse, allowing time for questions and discussion. We also host events to give Salem opportunities to fellowship and learn about the Chinese culture.
