Salem Baptist Church has a wonderful opportunity to reach out to parents of foster children. When surveyed, foster families listed babysitting as their #1 need. On Friday, February 10th from 5:30–8:45, Salem is hosting a “Respite Night.” This will be a time when parents of foster children ages birth – 7th grade can drop their children off at the church and enjoy an evening together while their children are loved by us. How can you help? Volunteers are needed for a 1:1 ratio of child/adult, group leaders, station leaders (activities provided), the welcome team, and extra help. What a wonderful opportunity to serve at Salem as we reach to those outside our doors and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
